Dr. Catherine Austin obtained her Master’s Degree from the American College of
Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1998 and her Doctoral Degree in Family Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2014. With 27 years of experience as a Licensed Acupuncturist, she has maintained a private practice in California, South America, and Central Mexico, focusing on digestive issues, allergies, autoimmune disorders, and reproductive health for both women and men. Dr. Austin has conducted in-depth research in Chinese herbal medicine and excels in creating tailored herbal prescriptions for various internal medicine conditions. Between 2011 and 2012, she contributed to the design team that introduced Acupuncture services
to the new Integrative Medicine Program at UCSD in La Jolla. From 2012 to 2013, she pursued further training in Ayurvedic medicine, migraines, and multiple sclerosis, collaborating with renowned neurologist Dr. Kulrheet Chaudhary at Wellspring Health in La Jolla.

Dr. Austin teaches at Pacific College in San Diego and is a guest lecturer at Yo San University in Santa Monica. She also speaks at Reproductive Conferences on topics such as male and female infertility and the application of acupuncture for improved labor and delivery. Dr. Austin can collaborate with you and your physician, interpret lab results, and integrate Functional Medicine into your comprehensive health care plan.
